Before starting to explain the virtues of our new launch, the OlioVita Protect, we would like to start by telling about the well-known Oliovita, which we could consider as a kind of precursor of the latter.
Just pointing out that, Oliovita and OlioVita Protect are two different products with two very different functions. OlioVita Protect is focused on meeting the needs of people exposed to the sun, thanks to its exclusive extract containing high quality polyphenols (extracts of grapefruit and rosemary).
As explained below, OlioVita Protect protects the entire body evenly from the sun’s rays, avoiding photo-aging, sun spots, solar allergy and repairing the skin from the harmful effects of the sun.
What is Oliovita?
Oliovita is a food supplement based on sea buckthorn oil which helps to nourish, moisturize and regenerate the skin from the inside out, in addition to promoting the renewal and protection of mucous membranes. All this thanks to the wonderful properties of sea buckthorn oil which is anti-inflammatory and analgesic for the skin and mucous membranes.
Oliovita helps protect and nourish the skin, from the inside out and avoids dryness or inflammation which causes discomfort. It’s what we call a nutricosmetic.
What is sea buckthorn?
Sea buckthorn is a natural shrub from coastal areas of Asia and Europe whose berries have been used over the last century by traditional medicines, such as the Tibetan medicine, taking advantage of its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties on the skin and mucous membranes. This plant is also very resistant to cold and drought.
What is OlioVita Protect and its ingredients?
OlioVita Protect is a food supplement based on exclusive extracts 100% natural and with synergistic action. Composed of grapefruit and rosemary extract, sea buckthorn oil and vitamin D.
This formula helps to protect and prevent (UVA, UVB, IR and Visible photoprotection, in vitro and in vivo efficacy) the effects of sun rays throughout the body evenly, avoiding photo-aging, sun spots and repairing the skin from harmful effects of the sun. It also provides nutrition, hydration, elasticity and firmness to the skin.
- Extracts of grapefruit and rosemary: represent an oral defence against the sun, with a duration of 24 hours. Its effectiveness is demonstrated in allergies, sunburn, redness, cellular damage (oxidative damage), photo-aging, reduction of the depth of wrinkles and increase of the elasticity of the skin and hydration.
- Sea buckthorn contains omega 7, which is also found in the membranes of skin cells and mucous membranes, favouring hydration balance, nutrient passage and protection against microorganisms and free radicals. A nutritional contribution of omega 7 along with the rest of active ingredients of sea buckthorn oil helps to strengthen, moisturize and renew the skin and mucous membranes. Furthermore, reduce dryness and increase the elasticity of the skin.
- Vitamin D is synthesized in the body when exposed to solar radiation. It is recommended to take it as a supplement when not receiving direct sunlight at least 30-45 minutes per week. Topical sunscreens protect against UV rays but in turn prevent absorption of vitamin D. A deficiency of this vitamin has been linked to prostate, colon and breast cancers, as well as bone disease.
