Nourishes, repairs and protects. Now with fotoprotection SPF30+

Based on sea buckthorn oil, aloe vera, hyaluronic acid and centella asiática. With fotoprotection SPF30+

How am I formulated?

  • New generation UV filters: provide high photostable absorption of UV rays, especially UVB. They are a long-lasting and proven sun protection option.
  • Sea buckthorn oil: moisturizes and promotes the regeneration and protection of lips and nose. In addition, it has antibacterial activity due to its linoleic and oleic acid content.
  • Aloe vera extract: has anti-inflammatory activity and antioxidant activity thanks to its phenolic compounds. In addition, it also acts as antibacterial and antifungal.
  • Hyaluronic acid: contributes to dermal repair and helps accelerate the healing of microwounds. It has a triple action: lubricant, hydrating and humectant.
  • Centella asiatica extract: has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and moisturizing activity.

Apply on lips and nose, according to need.

What are the benefits of a protection factor in a lip balm?

  • UV Ray Protection: lips, like the skin on the rest of the body, are exposed to the sun’s harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. A lip balm with SPF helps protect the delicate skin of your lips from UVA and UVB rays, which can cause cell damage, premature aging, and in severe cases, skin cancer.
  • Sunburn prevention: lips can become sunburned, causing pain, inflammation, and peeling. Using a lip balm with SPF reduces the risk of sunburn, keeping lips healthier and more comfortable.
  • Hydration and nutrition: in addition to offering sun protection, many lip balms also contain hydrating and nourishing ingredients, such as shea butter, coconut oil or vitamin E. This helps keep lips soft, hydrated and free of cracks.
  • Preventing premature aging: continued exposure to the sun without protection can cause signs of premature aging on the skin of the lips, such as wrinkles and loss of elasticity. A lip balm with SPF helps prevent these effects, keeping lips looking younger for longer.
  • Relief and protection in extreme climates: in both hot and cold climates, lips can suffer dryness and damage. A lip balm with SPF not only protects against the sun, but also provides a barrier against wind and cold, keeping lips protected in various weather conditions.
  • Cold Sore Prevention: although not all lip balms with SPF are specifically formulated for this, some studies suggest that sun protection on the lips may help prevent cold sore outbreaks in people prone to this condition, since sun exposure can trigger these outbreaks.

Recommendations for the use of lip balms with SPF

  • Frequent reapplication: it is important to reapply the balm every 2 hours, especially after eating, drinking, swimming or sweating.
  • Full coverage: make sure to cover the entire surface of your lips for effective protection.
  • Choosing the right SPF: use a lip balm with at least SPF 15, although SPF 30 or higher is recommended for better protection.

Do not apply the product on damaged skin; such as ulcers, open or infected wounds.

Avoid that the product comes into contact with the eyes.
